Bidra med feedbackI have passed by this spot shuffling kids around for over a decade. Stopped in today and it was wonderful. I ordered a sub for the name but was treated to samples of BBQ while I waited. If you put the greatness of Pecan Lodge or Heim BBQ don?t know if Icould have told a difference it was that good. They also had the late great Peggy Sue?s sides available. Menu is expansive soit will be once a week stop for a while!!!
Sub is good but the price is absurd. Spent $11 just on a 6 inch sub. I can get the same sandwich at Eatzi's in Dallas with better quality ingredients and bread choices for $8.99. For being next to a university you would think they would chill oninflated prices. Used to come here a lot but before they inflated their prices. Struggling with cost of food? Maybe make itaffordable to eat at and you may have a more customers to make up for the cost. It was pretty quiet at 12:30 pm. Now I see why.2 stars for the sub being good.
Very cool place but the bread is too thick.Food: 3/5
Found this sandwich shop right off the beaten path was amazing!!! I got a half meatball sandwich on a white hoagie roll, and I will tell you, it is one of the best meatball sandwich I recall ever having. The roll was soft, the meatballs were super tender, the sauce was great and it was perfectly cheesy. Really can't ask for ask more!! I also got half of a roast beef hoagie which had cheese, lettuce and onion. The roast beef was excellent, I just needed a bit more mayo and salt and pepper. My husband got a turkey club hoagie, he really liked it, just needed a bit more seasoning like me. The interior is cute, with some arcade games scattered throughout. Overall, it was really good, looking forward to another meatball sandwich!! Oh, the sandwiches are huge!!!
Took my gf whose from NY here and the subs were amazing but $15 for a sandwich is a bit much…
