Proof & Pantry - Dallas

Restaurant Week at Proof and Pantry ROCKS. Each course is better than the one before.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed for renovations and we were not notified that our reservation had been canceled.

I was unable to check in, but I had to provide a rating, so I chose a middle-of-the-road score. Unfortunately, Proof Pantry was closed when we arrived for our reservation. It appeared that they were experiencing HVAC issues. I plan to give them another try in the future and hope that they are open.

We reserved four at 5:45 on Friday. We arrived and the doors were closed, the place was dark and there was a sign that it was closed the day before for HVAC work. Nothing about today, although it was clear that they were still closed. No calls have been answered and no notice of closing. So we went and went over the plaza for food in a very overworked restaurant and brought Slack for a two show night. I was very excited about the meal. Unfortunately.

We had a great experience overall. The food was delicious. The restaurant was conveniently located near the Opera House, where we had tickets for an author talk.
