Thai Opal - Dallas

Assamn curry was really good, as was the mango sticky rice. The chicken satay was also good, but the individual skewers were pretty small (2 are pictured, oder comes with 4). There was only one server when we went, so it took a bit longer to order and ger our food. The restaurant was also sort of warm inside, but it wasn't too bad.Food: 5/5

Exceptional! By far, best Thai place I have ever tried in Dallas. Food was amazing, very tasty and a good portion as well. There’s a reason for those awards :D (I looked at those before we were seated and I agree!

Great food in a hidden great Thai restaurant. Real authentic Thai food. Even the vegetarian egg rolls are delicious. Awesome sauces and dressings for the salad too.

The absolute worst for takeout! It is very unfortunate for me to report this but we had no choice, almost! We have lived in Dallas for 6 years and we live near this restaurant and have been here numerous times. The food is usually great! However, every single time we order takeout they forget something. Every single time without fail. We have never experienced a phenomena like this! Bizarre!! I mean we have tried to get takeout from here near a dozen times and every time they forget something. Most times we call and let them know but did not want to come back to rectify the order because it is a waste of time and we are busy. They have never offered to reimburse us either which is a real kicker. And they know of the error even. They also never apologize for messing up the order or our time and money wasted. We usually take several months to order again given this always happens. We have not gone in about a year this time but we decided to give it one more try. And of course, they forgot something again!! This time my husband drove all the way back and asked to talk with the manager and he wouldn't even come out. We are so done with this place as they do not even care to apologize or make things right.

The image speaks for itself, not much to say about it. The dish was as good as it looks. The atmosphere was on point as well with the candles and background music, and the staff was friendly! 5 stars and will be back! Great experience!
