Mix Prime Steakhouse Fish - Danbury

Food: Excellent preparation and presentation. The food looked as good as it tasted . Service: We had an excellent waiter who was very attentive to our every request. Ambiance I love the layout. A top bar lounge with seating inside and out . My wife and I choose a booth seat. My steak was absolutely delicious and the carrots and greens made to perfection. My mango martini was perfect. Just an absolute fantastic meal and service. I would definitely return . First time here . I promise it won't be our last time.

Add me to the list of people who had overcooked steaks. Asked for my bone in ribeye blue/rare and it came out medium at best. The 2nd attempt was better but the sizzling hot plate is a real problem as it keeps cooking your steak. I sliced my whole steak and immediately moved it to the mashed potato plate once I realized. The apps (raw oysters and wedge salad) and drinks (dirty martini and mix Manhattan) were good. Service was decent and attempted to make things right as noted above. Next time I'd get a filet like my husband whose steak came out perfectly medium rare and being thick make it harder to overcook.

This restaurant mix prime steakhouse and fish is truly a lovely place to dine. I was very pleased with my fresh Caesar salad with shrimp. The dressing was very tasty with perfect seasoning and shrimp were bold totally awesome. The atmosphere was chil perfect for an early diner. The server was knowledgeable of the menu as well everyone in my party enjoyed their dining experience

Chose Mix Prime to celebrate a family birthday. The wait staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Compared to other local steak restaurants, the steak at Mix Prime was top notch. Everyone was pleased with their entrees. We loved the rustic decor and charming outdoor patio.

The food and service were amazing The restaurant had a very nice ambiance. I came on a Friday night and had a reservation for 9:45. We were seated promptly, and it was a nice small crowd, but not too crowded. Drinks and food came out quickly. The kitchen closes at 1030, and the bar closes when the last person leaves. If you're in the area, you should stop by, and if you like tequila, try a lemon drop with tequila instead of vodka; you won't be disappointed.
