Oc Organic Kitchen - Danbury

Absolutely amazing! We stumbled upon this place during a road trip while searching for something healthy that wasn't too far from the highway. We had no expectations since we found it through a random Google search, but we were thrilled with our discovery. I ordered the Baja chicken sandwich, and my boyfriend claimed it was the best ciabatta he's ever had. It tasted incredibly fresh, and the sandwich was delicious overall. We were disappointed that we don’t pass through this area more often because we’d love to try more of their menu!

The food was overpriced and stale. My friend ordered a cheesecake that was extremely dry and fell apart completely. I tried a tomato, mozzarella, and basil sandwich, but there was no basil or balsamic glaze, and it tasted bland. I waited 15 minutes for my meal, even though the place was empty. When I inquired about my order, I found out that my food had just been sitting on the back counter the entire time. The coffee tasted burnt, and I had to ask the employee to put their phone down to make it for me. Overall, it's too expensive for the terrible food they serve.

The food lacked flavor and appeared to be several days old. The chicken breast in the baja sandwich was extremely dry. The cream donut had a crunchy texture, which was unexpected. While I waited for my meal, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant was quite dirty. There were piles of dead bugs in the corner by the front window, flies landing on the pastries in the open display case, and gnats all over the walls. I ended up throwing away most of my meal. It was very disappointing, especially given the high prices.

Sandwich was delicious and very reasonably priced. Also, as someone with anaphylaxis they accommodated my food allergies very well and were very attentive and careful. Highly recommend both for people who follow a vegan diet as well as people with foodallergies like myself.

2 stars for their effort, it might be organic but not worth it, they need serious training and management, no welcomed no thank you no how is it, Mediterranean chicken sandwiches I had it was cut in 1/2 one side was ok other side feel like it was differentsandwich, also apple bread pudding it?s not what you think is it, it?s very hard very dry even apple they use are dry apples,also there is so many horse-flys
