Bidra med feedbackWhen we arrived, the hostess, though flustered and overwhelmed, was very kind and informed us that even though we had a reservation, we could wait at the bar. There was one available seat behind a column for us to use while waiting for our table, which would have been acceptable for a short time. However, after nearly 30 minutes, it was no longer a suitable situation. Once we were finally seated, our server greeted us with an attitude suggesting he would rather be anywhere else. The service lacked both positivity and timeliness. We received no offer of bread, there were no steak knives on the table when our food arrived, and our server never returned to ask if we wanted more drinks, forcing us to flag someone down for a simple water refill. The food was also served in a disorganized manner, and the waitstaff's performance left much to be desired. On a positive note, the decor is quite appealing—a modern and cozy space that fits the area well. I appreciated being able to see into the kitchen as I walked to the restroom. The restaurant appeared clean and organized, though I have a couple of minor critiques: we don't need both an LED candle and a mini lamp on our table, and if there's an 80-inch TV at the bar, it should at least be tuned to something rather than displaying a screensaver. Fortunately, the food was the highlight of our visit. It was significantly better than our first experience. The fried calamari was well-prepared, with a nice crust and a chipotle sauce that offered a delightful twist rather than the traditional accompaniment. The bone-in ribeye was excellent—large, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. It provided a very solid steak experience, and the plate was incredibly hot, so do take care when handling it! Overall, I plan to return one more time to see if I can combine the great service from our first visit with the culinary experience from this second visit. I would recommend MIX, but honestly, that’s mainly because there isn’t much competition nearby for this type of restaurant.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our family occasion at this lovely restaurant. The service was exceptional. We started with crab cakes and calamari as appetizers, and I opted for the Kitchen Sink burger, which was so substantial that I couldn't finish it. Other family members chose the steak, chicken parmigiana, and salads, all of which they enjoyed. The portion sizes are quite generous!
The food and service were outstanding, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. I visited on a Friday night and had a reservation for 9:45 PM. We were seated right away, and it was a pleasant, manageable crowd—not too busy at all. Our drinks and food were served quickly. The kitchen closes at 10:30 PM, and the bar stays open until the last patron leaves. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by, and if you're a tequila fan, definitely try a lemon drop made with tequila instead of vodka; you won’t be let down.
The food was so-so delicious. Most of us had the filet mignon done at different degrees and every single one of them came out exactly as we asked for. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and just delicious . All the side dishes came separately. We chose mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and asparagus. Each side is big. The restaurant is big which makes ambiance feel a bit cold but it's still a beautiful place, nice lighting, nice setup and they try to bring the coziness in with dim lighting and candles. We finished dinner with espressos and then moved over to the bar area which felt a bit cozier, but just as spacious. All the staff was very friendly and very professional.
Supermarket quality streak doused with butter. The name says prime but the steak wasn't. Terrible.
