Square One Grill - Danbury

Loved the outdoor deck if only I84 wasn't so close as there was a bit of road noise. Food was great American Bistro with Mexican dishes. Burgers were too large and cooked perfectly. I appreciate the local CT microbrews. Fun place to have lunch or dinner!

Literally just left this place after waiting 10 minutes and not being acknowledged. I recognize it is a Friday night, but they were not busy. In fact, a waiter had time to sneak to a corner to check his phone. The tables around us were checked in on, however we didn 't even receive a I 'll be right with you. I was looking forward to the wings but I won 't be back.

Our visit was Friday April 19,2024. It is possible our waiter was having a rough evening. Nonetheless, my first experience at the restaurant was not a good one and I’m not sure that I will go back.My son and I ordered an appetizer which looked really good but was poorly made. We order the Mac and cheese fried “ balls” -they were dry and gummy; the sauce that came with it was just heat up vodka sauce. Our waiter forgot to give us utensils and by the time she realized food had also arrived and everything was cold. My son order a medium well burger and it was completely rare I had the steak and frites- The steak was not seasoned, and the fries tasted like they were heat up in the microwave- some were soggy others were just cold.I am really surprised because the place was packed and it looked like everyone was having a wonderful time.Possibly this is a place to hang out and have a drink and not dinner.If you are reading this and are from the restaurant-Customer service is so important even if the food is not good. I will always go back to a place when I’m treated well even if the food is meh.Thank you.

Nice chill place to grab drinks, and maybe some food

Only went there for drinks but it's a nice little spot to hangout and get some good food
