Captain's Galley Seafood - Dandridge

This was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it. I loved the popcorn shrimp dinner; the portion was generous, so I ended up taking some home! The hush puppies are definitely worth a visit on their own! The cocktail sauce, however, was a bit disappointing—it was quite mild, almost like ketchup. Aside from the lackluster cocktail sauce and the fact that they don’t serve alcohol, it’s a really pleasant restaurant. Additionally, the service was fantastic!

Fantastic food at an affordable price! I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. We began our meal with complimentary hush puppies and an appetizer of blooming onion, both of which were delicious. Our entrees arrived at just the right time. Amber provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience. We will definitely come back whenever we're in the area!

As locals, we dine here several times a year, and the food and service are consistently outstanding. Even with a packed house on Friday night, we were seated within just six minutes. Our drinks arrived immediately and were constantly refilled. The oysters were deliciously prepared, and my stuffed flounder was cooked to perfection, although I might have preferred a tad less bread crumb in the stuffing—just my personal taste. My wife's broiled combo of flounder, scallops, and shrimp was also expertly prepared. We both ended up with a bit left over, which made for a nice dinner for me the following night. Overall, this restaurant absolutely deserves its five-star rating, and we will definitely be back soon.

We have been coming here for years, always a family favorite. BUT the food quality was just not anywhere near what we had been accustomed to. The sea scallops were actually bay scallops and cooked to little hard white balls! And the prices were higher.Higher prices for the same quality would have been fine, but it wasn't. Just not the same quality we had always bragged on. +The hush puppies were still very good. This was a combo celebration for birthdays and it was sad. Please bring back the greatfood we were use to.

Very Nice Outstanding Server. All you can eat hush puppies that were amazing we had an appetizer also. I ate salad so I filled up on everything I took my entree of the shrimp trio Home. Outstanding coconut shrimp with with key lime dip.
