Harvey's - Danville

I really think this is the best food in Danville! Everything's all right at home! I'm a bit hard when I criticize food, so for me this is a place I always enjoy! Service is also top notch! Love sit at the bar with a large list of handmade cocktails!

Randy the server/bartender was very interactive and personable. I ordered a Comeback burger of which had great flavor! It was cooked at just the right temperature (MR) with a freshly made side of seasoned fries. I highly recommend the burger and the restaurant. He we are two years later and the Burger is still great!

Had a great time at Harvey's for our party of 4. The service was friendly and on point. We had a water guzzler at our table, and they kept us pretty topped off. The food was delicious! I got the blackened mahi mahi off the specials menu, and I loved it. Our favorite appetizer is definitely the pulled pork fries and the chips come in a close second. Our standard order there is the brisket quesadilla if the specials aren't what we want. Absolutely cannot go wrong with that order. Our order was a little higher than normal because we were ordering to deliberately have leftovers for one of the couples since their living facilities weren't set up yet. You can easily order and get food for less than $20 a person, and it rivals anything you can get in Lexington. (I would know since I live there. I normally remember to take photos, but the company, service and food were so good that I forgot. Next time then!

You can never go wrong with Harvey's! This place is literally on of my favorites in town. The first picture is the Pulled pork nachos and the second is the pulled pork sandwich(pictures are from two separatevisits). Both are amazing and have a great smokey taste. The staff are always nice and know the menu well. I have never left unsatisfied by anyone or anything here. The owners are also really nice and fun. They have game nights sometimes too. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also amazing. They have pictures from the county's history that I love to look at. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go here!

My husband ordered the new York strip and was very pleased. I ordered the shirmp and I was not a fan of it. The breading wasn't my favorite. I also ordered a salad and fries for my sides and they were awesome. My husband had the mashed potatoes and he loved them. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and casual. A big plus for me because I have anxiety when it gets too crowded or loud. I was very comfortable here. The pictures I'm attaching we're taken after I had eaten a bunch of my fries so portions were very decent.
