Mama Possum's - Danville

I was truly taken aback. It felt like I had stepped into another world. The staff was incredibly friendly—joking, laughing, and really cohesive. They created the best atmosphere I've seen in a fast food restaurant in a long time. The food was quite good—nothing too extravagant, but very satisfying and flavorful. The prices are more than fair. If you can get dinner, drinks, and dessert for two people for under $20, it's definitely worth the trip for a return visit. Don't hesitate to go!

I dine at this restaurant 3 to 4 times a month and I can only say positive things about it. Having worked in a high-volume pizza restaurant for 14 years, I can confidently say that the food is consistently excellent. It's worth noting that for those customers who arrive close to closing time, it’s important to be considerate of the staff; they have lives outside of work too.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the prices were great, and the staff was outstanding. What truly stood out was our waitress from yesterday. My 3-year-old was full of energy from a game and was running around the table, but the staff was really understanding and let her play without any issues. The waitress even engaged with her, chatting and playing along. My daughter, who is usually shy, warmed up quickly and started having a little conversation with her. The waitress also took the time to chat with my older daughter, discussing her cheer uniform and the game. We felt so welcomed, as if we were visiting family. I absolutely love this place!

Every time I was there, it is very clean; very personable staff; and best, very delicious food. Her milk shakes and ice cream are also very good. Nice place to meet your friends and have a refreshing snack.

The staff has always been so nice and the food is great. Today when we were there we noticed an elderly man whose car had broken down in the parking lot. Turns out his wife had died 2 months ago and he frequents the restaurant because he is lonely. My husband got up and took him home. While he was gone the waiter came over and took my husband's order off the bill. Then they made him a fresh burger so it was hot when he got back from taking the man to his house. My husband never expected anything in return, but the staff at Mama Possums were so sweet.
