Sugar Bowl Luncheonette - Darien

Delicious breakfast in very good location. It is only worthwhile for the decorations. We enjoyed her version of Valentine's Day. Food was good and prices fair. It was a local favorite.

We strolled in on a busy Sunday afternoon and were impressed! The Sugar Bowl is FANTASTIC. Why? It's simplicity and quick service. We ordered a patty melt, pancakes with eggs over easy and bacon. A simple, common breakfast and yet we were met with such hospitable service. Our coffee cups were never empty and our table was always attended! The ONLY downfall of this wonderful restaurant is their parking! Other than that, everything was impeccable! The Sugar Bowl is wonderfully placed should consider expanding because it is charming and presents wonderful and distinctive service!

We visited this restaurant on Saturday afternoon and were really impressed by the holiday decorations. The brunch was fantastic! Since we arrived a bit late (around 2:40 PM), there weren't many customers, which made it a nice experience. The service was excellent, and our food was served quickly. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for such a great location on Darien. We would definitely come back!
