Uncle's Deli - Darien

When I go to Darien for lunch, I'll go to Uncle. Period. Amazing food at great prices. I suggest that the buffalo crane, crazy Ivan, steakncheese, smokehouse roll... hopefully you start getting the picture because it's all so good.

Uncle Deli is the best! The sandwiches are huge and I have two lunches from a sandwich. My favorites are The Smokehouse Roll-Up, the California and Chicken Parm on a wedge!

After passing by Uncle’s Deli a number of times my foodie-osity finally took over. First impression: pretty good! The interior is as quaint and inviting as the exterior with prompt, friendly service to boot. Ordered the Rueben (marbled rye! , a prosciutto panini and a large curly fries. All portions were a good value for the portion. Only gripe and the only thing from making this a 5-star review was the excess salt on the curly fries and panini

Food is delicious; staff is friendly; prices can’t complain about; I loved that this place is different by having the menu practically on the ceiling. Just give the people more time to look at the menu.
