Bidra med feedbackWe've all been there. It's been a busy day full of meetings, and of course, just as you're excited to get home or grab something to eat, you realise you have that evening meeting that always runs overtime. And the meeting starts at 7:30! So you contemplate to yourself, 'do I grab a quick bite to eat? It'd be such an early time to eat dinner, because 7:30 is really an ideal time to order or serve dinner. Earlier than that is just too early. I guess I have to, because this is sydney, and nothing serves dinner after 8pm (thanks Casino Mike Baird & Barry O'Farrell).' But then you realise, hang on, there's a place, a haven some might call it, which serves dinners till 2am. And more than that, it has a range of $10 dinners, plentiful in serving size, great tasting, a fine range of craft brews and fine wines, even some wonderful cheese for after-dinner. So your night is saved. Low302, that's what I'm talking about.
"Hey where's the best place in Sydney?" "Why Low 302 of course""LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW LOW"
There's nothing Low about Low. Great place. Always there for you. Caring owners. Loving bartenders. Sometimes the steak is a bit undercooked but all you need to do is ask for it to be heated up a little bit more. Great Malbec wine. Fantastic cheese platters. The schnitzel works. I'm never more satisfied than after a visit to Low. I love a wholesome life, and I owe everything to Low. Thank you.
Love this place. Most chilled out, comfortable diner in the area - perfect lighting, music, live entertainment and cushy seats. $10 meals are a steal and kitchen is open super late. Usual pub style food (shniddies n chips, burgers, crochettes, mixed BBQ grill - plus some more up-market options; tender minted lamb rack, seared salmon steaks etc. Cocktail list is pretty alluring but each time I've been here the cocktails have a offputtingly unbalanced recipes (watery espresso martinis, sour intense fruity drinks, really syrupy dry drinks - perhaps they need to reevaluate their recipe book). Regardless,Gonna keep this place as a regular favourite and drink the beer/wine.
When everywhere else shuts at 12am on Crown street and you don't fancy going to the Columbian or Gaslight, you have the option of Low 302 which opens to 2am. You may have to queue to get in, but it's definitely a more decent option than nearby establishments. Live music was on the night we visited and we happened to sit right by the stage and had front row view. The bar was not as pretentious as those so called "bar of the year" in CBD. The cocktails were good too. It's a more laid back chilled neighborhood bar where no deafening music or over the top interiors. thernbdiary.com
