Bidra med feedbackFood and staff are second to non. Practically family now Im in there that much. Unfortunately for me. Fantastic old school cooking as well as healthy and special options. The savouries are famous and so they should be, sometimes get a savoury with my meal. Your not from Darlo unless you’ve had a savoury in your life. The girls/lads all bully me and only reason I keep going back. Ultimate breakfast or the Roast dinner with extra fried roasties are the one. Simon needs to pull his socks up when Im in though. Thats my only fault is our Simon, he knows what I mean! ; thanks for always looking after me. Also opens at 8:30 which is good for someone up as early as I am and needs feeding properly!
We had the famous Savoury Bun. What a great cafe in Darlington. Serving their very famous Darlington Savoury Bun with its secret ingredient! The staff are all so lovely and friendly, especially Abigail who served us today. A real pleasure to eat here! Thank you!
Still a nice little place in the corner of the indoor market in Darlington. you always get a great chat with the Lovely Lisa and the Gorgeous Josie . very nice staff indeed. the tea is really nice, and the toast is always served hot, you get people from all walks of life coming in to this diner. been coming in here for years and there is never an issue, it is plain food at a fair price, not sure about vegan or gluton free meals as i just order what i want to eat. well done to the staff again
I have visited this lovely clean diner for well over 30 years, the savoury bun is totaly amazing. the staff are lovely. and will served you what you wish for. the prices fit a poor mans pockets with a smile. it has good food, i will return again one day when i am passing. the french lady was a total dream with her smile. the other members of staff are so so polite and i really want to give more stars. please go. eat. enjoy. and start your day knowing you are full and still have change ion your pocket. well done to all the members of staff. i can not find any fault and i am not looking for any faults. breakfast. toast. mug of tea. oh i so look forward to a return one day.
Always had an endearing warm memory of the first sausage savoury bun from the indoor market. Peppery sausage with onions in a soft bun. Does the memory play tricks? Possibly or perhaps my taste buds have matured. Or has the recipe changed? Filled a gap. Was quite good. But not as good as I remembered
