This is the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! The fish was of excellent quality, and the calamari wasn't just frozen, pre-packaged items. The service was great, and the atmosphere complemented the delicious food perfectly.

I had fish and chips for lunch with my husband, and we were pleased with both the food and the service. The batter was fresh and crisp, although it was a bit on the thick side. The grilled Barra was tasty, but we felt it could have been a bit thicker considering the price. Overall, we would definitely go back.

If you're looking for fresh local fish that is cooked to perfection, along with excellent chips at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. It's open all year round. The dining area consists of a few tables both indoors and outdoors, which are in decent condition. However, you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air at their clean outdoor tables. The service is also good.

It was okay for a quick dinner. We had three meals. Steak sandwich with lots, seafood basket and grilled fish and salad. We all agreed that meals were 7/10 each. The chips seemed like they had no salt at all and had a sprinkle when they were plated. The grilled fish was very boiled. The scaling in the basket was completely tasteless. These fish and shrimp in the seafood basket were super and very fresh. The gardens out there were good.

Darwin Fishermen's Wharf Eatery, May 2022. I had the Fishermen's mixed seafood basket and a prawn fried rice. The quality was reasonable but nothing special, the rice was a bit oily and a little undercooked. Would try them again if I felt like seafood. But there are many other places to try out in Darwin before returning to this reasonable fish and chips.
