Raging Bull Steakhouse - Darwin

Always love cheap lunches. A good range for only $10. Steak's okay, Burger's much better. Loved the fish and chips and cracks. Drinks are a little pricy to compensate the food cheaply, which is understandable. Watch on Friday, although all local office workers fill the place until noon.

The pub food was fantastic. The steaks were amazing, and the chocolate dessert with all the trimmings was to die for.

This restaurant is a good place for a meal, it is located within a tavern. They often have specials that offer good value for the money. The $5 steak on Tuesdays is a great deal, although it does not come with salad or sauce. The ribs were tender and flavorful, also worth the price. However, the chicken wings were a letdown, as they were bland with dry skin and not enough BBQ sauce. Overall, the food was a mix of hits and misses.

I have not been here for several years now and the changes seem quite dramatic. Gone is the classy restaurant that I felt a little uncomfortable in wearing my Hi Viz PPE, now the work clothes seem much more at home. Unluckily the meals have changed as well seeming more down market. The meal was OK, very filling with its own unique taste which kept coming back to haunt me for the rest of the afternoon. Maybe I will leave it a couple of more years before I try again.

The wait was long and the steak was tough. Toughest piece of meat I’ve ever eaten at a dine in, and the prawns were not cooked long enough. The Flavours were good but the execution of the meals lacked. Did not enjoy.
