Fox Hounds At Althorp Coaching Inn

I loved this pub and wish it was my regular spot! Despite the busyness on Father's Day, the food and service were both top-notch. Plus, the fact that it's very dog-friendly was a major bonus.

I recently tried the Philly steak sandwich at Althorp and it was fantastic. Althorpe is truly a hidden gem. The Althorp Coaching Inn is a charming spot that maintains the nostalgic atmosphere of old coaching inns. The food is mouthwatering and expertly prepared, and the service is excellent. If you're in the area visiting the nearby castle, I highly recommend stopping in for lunch here. Everything was perfect.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The beer garden was beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The menu was fabulous and the Yorkshire pudding was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you!

Fantastic transformation refurbishment. Has retained the charm of the historic building but had a much needed de-clutter and smarten-up. Lunch was excellent and the garden and courtyard are just as nice as I remember. Great place to go in any weather and staff management were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to see it back open and looking so good. Could do with just a few little toys in the garden or covered snug (play kitchen? for those with toddlers that would definitely help me with returning as places rarely cater to help families eat out.

Love this pub. Just reopened after being closed for a while. Very friendly place with nice staff, only to happy to help. Great place to grab and drink and something to eat, especially if you are walking in the area. Dog friendly as well. Stunning pub.
