Tgi Friday's David

The staff at this TGI's is very welcoming and accomodating. As all restaurants of this chain, the vibe is fun and the drinks are always on point.

After a long hiatus I tried this place again. Never asked for my lunch order at noontime. Twenty minutes (with an empty glass) I waited before anyone asked if I wanted another beer. At least three staff members on the floor at all times. Clearing tables was more important than attending customers. Never did anyone ask for my food order at noontime.

It may be surprising to find a TGI Friday's in David Panama and even more so that it measures up to the restaurants of the US. This restaurant offers a good menu and excellent service.

My husband and I came off the highway after driving 5 hours from Bocas del Toro/Almirante. I thought oh good! TJI Fridays. I know we can get good food there . Opened the door and immediately turned around. Its was FREEZING in the restaurant. 26 outside and 4 degrees inside. Waitresses too busy talking or standing around. Every time we needed something we had to flag her down. Incredibly expensive for Panama. $32 for a standard burger, small bowl of soup and 4 tiny cups of coffee. Not impressed. Wont be back here in Panama or at any location. Good thing you make the commercials look good. Dont buy it.

I went with my wife and 4 kids. We got 4 kids meals, a shrimp meal and a burger. The kids and I drank pop, while my wife had an alcoholic drink. We ordered 3 desserts. We paid over $100 USD. The place was americanized, but nothing special. Freezing cold too. I wasn't impressed.
