Bidra med feedbackThe famous ice dessert, the Coupe Romanoff apparently from this hotel and the panoramic restaurant with its great views of Davos and the surrounding mountains, is the perfect place to enjoy it. The menu offers many specialties from the Graubünden region, including a very tasty Chur meat cake, although not a large part. Thus the meal Closing Dessert comes practically in the form of the Romanoff ice dish with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and whipped cream. The views are certainly included in the price, but it is worth a meal after a day of hiking. Had a beautiful waitress who always added bonus points to the experience.
This was one of the worst meals we had in more than 35 years of visit or life in Switzerland. The crispy Roesti was almost 2cm thick and not crispy at all; the added bacon was flacid, anaemic rashers of streaky bacon... placed over the top. Don't miss... The Wienerschnitzel was of good quality, but very small by half the expected size, especially given its CHF42 price. Again, very disappointing. And the mixed salad... it just can't be so hard to get it right, can it be? The quality of the culinary experience, combined with the joyful service, made this a lunch to remember, but unfortunately not for the right reasons.
We dined here as our last dinner of the ski trip. Not disappointed at all with the atmosphere, the service and the food.
Lovely old funicular up Shatzalp. Fabulous views over the valley and across to the ski lift on the other side. Great walks from up here and also the Alpinum trail. Great to come up for a meal or a drink as it is open until...midnight.!!
I loved the simplicity of this place. We reserved in advance, They ensured we have a table with nice view, they were very welcoming compared to the ordinary service you can get in the city
