It literally took me about secs to order my lunch. Just can’t say no to lamb shank. Harbour view hotel’s outdoor area located on the higher floor was impressive. Enjoyed the view and Sydney sun. Slow cooked lamb was equally impressive. I give this place bears
Wine list...ok hand a nice Pinot bout other wines were average. View really is ok but you don't really see much besides the base of the bridge. Toilets aren't that great.. But seriously are they ever are!! it's 2016, I'm drunk and merry wouldn't be my first choice of venue but hey I have been here for 5 hours so hey what can I say it's ok
Good food. eltern and I visit from melbourne and the upper floor outside the esszone has a great view of the harbour bridge and the harbour. has the feeling of the good classic local pub. we ordered the lamb shafts, the harbour burger and the nachos nachos is a little disappointing when they are looking for a decadent and kitschigen stack of nachos, as it came with a few tortilla chips around the side of the plate with the cheese mostly on the bottom bark and other toppings. the other meals were simple, but good. do not expect amazing food, but it is simply aussie pub eating for relatiw cheap prices and the intention makes it worth it!
Down at the rocks in Sydney is the Harbour View Hotel, a laid back, unpretentious place for a friendly, casual and good value meal with a heritage feel. Parking is not too hard and it’s easy to book a table. Wine by the glass starts at $7.50 and the Harvey River Shiraz is a generous pour and a good choice.
