Azure - Daytona Beach Shores

Great total meal and experience... and the best place to make this iconic photo of downtown Tampa!

We sat outside while we created Azure and the sound of the ocean, the breeze and the fire pit a very relaxing atmosphere. Eating was very good and our server was excellent! Would come back.

The ambience was excellent. Great location and views. Quiet and comfortable. The food was very good. You have to bring it together in service. I'm not accusing the waitress. I owe the manager. Server was friendly and eager to do her job. With my father in law 5:30, Friday 3/17. Two parking vessels ignored us. Placed on a table without cutlery or napkins. No water was offered or served. Appetizer serves without plates, napkins or cutlery. I have them myself. Salad came out more than before. Salad was served in a small bowl w/ dressing on the side. Impossible to cut or fly over the table by dressing without salad. The meal asked for a beer and an A1 sauce. Half the time the beer arrived and had to ask for A1. That was a very nice place to go back to. But the service must be in character with the rest of the restaurant and resort.

Dressed nicely. Ordered the special, Grouper w/ asparagus and cauliflower puree. Grouper dry and overcooked. Asparagus kitchen made a mistake and served mixed greens instead. When asking about asparagus, was told, Sorry, they made a mistake, with no offer to replace, refund, etc. Extremely noisy, slow service, understaffed. Extremely disappointing. Order a burger and fries and wear shorts so you will not be disappointed, but you will overpay.

Very poorly presented cocktails. The food was very bad, as was its presentation and very little variety on the menu.
