The Turkey vegetable soup was very good! my husband had poor man 's soup (hamburger and macaroni in a tomato base) and enjoyed that as well! We both had a house salad with balsamic vinagrette dressing that was pretty good. My only suggestion would be to slice the cucumbers and red onion a bit thicker, hard to pick up with fork! I knew from past experience that the desserts were TO DIE FOR, and this was no exception. Even though we don 't usually have desserts for lunch, my husband had tapioca pudding and I had strawberry shortcake WONDERFUL, and inexpensive to boot! $3 $4 for desserts are scarce these days. A very satisfying lunch, friendly server with great sense of humor. Highly recommended!
The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional. The desserts with whipped cream are made with the real stuff. Fantastic!
