Bidra med feedbackGreat place! In any case, a must experience! I wanted to go for a long time and so glad we did. Very family-friendly. Everyone was social distancing and wearing masks if necessary. When we arrived, we use our names to get a table to eat everything you can eat pancakes. Waiting was about 1 1/2 hours. In the meantime we explored a little and then took the 50-minute boat tour that was really nice. Just be advised and proactive about your table reservation. You should inform the captain of the boat that our table was ready and never. They called our names, but of course we didn't know. If I hadn't gone back to the restaurant to check as soon as we were done, we wouldn't have been able to eat. The service at the restaurant was great, pancakes were great. We also had eggs, sausage and bacon. The meat is cooked by the restaurant, but you cook pancakes and eggs. Very funny experience. Definitely want to go back. Water was beautiful.
I wanted to visit for a while, but I had no opportunity. Pancake (both varieties) were delicious. My family loved cooking their pancakes at the table, I would recommend adding ins, such as blueberries or pecans. Be ready for a pretty wait... it's a small place we waited 2 hours (we arrived at 9:30). We enjoyed the spring park while we waited. My family is ready to come back!!
Unique experience as you cook your own breakfast on a griddle at your table. You have to pay for admission into the park which adds $6.00 to the price you'll be paying for breakfast, if you don't intend on walking in the park. One thing I really dislike is that they automatically tack on 18% gratuity, even if the service is lacking. I ran out of tea twice and had to flag down a waitress both times for a refill. A tip of the customers choosing helps maintain the servers focus, in my opinion.
The pancake breakfast is amazing! My family used to go when we were kids, and it was really fun to take my kids. The wait staff were really nice, even though it is super busy. It 's all you can eat too, so if one type of pancake (they offer two types, a signature five grain whole wheat blend and a rich white blend) is more popular than another, they just bring more of whatever is out! They were nice about our kids, understanding about the kids and recommended you not get too much and pay for wasted toppings. My only complaint is that they are strict on rules but not universally. We had a party of 13, and we called ahead at 8 to let them know we had a big group coming at 9 (opening). They said over and over they don 't open until 9. Part of our group arrived at 8:50 and multiple tables were seated and already mid meal. They wouldn 't seat a partial group, so while we waited for the other car to arrive, another partial group arrived. They seated them with only 3 of their group and let them choose any table just as the rest of our group came in. Because they let the partial group sit anywhere, our group was seated in different rooms. Ten minutes later the remaining members sat down at the table next to us. It 's a very harried process. If you can get seated, then it 's enjoyable. We drove an hour with two cars with family visiting out of town to get there at opening to find they had been open clearly at 8:30. And then we did everything to sit together and it just wouldn 't happen. So be flexible, or go as a group of 2 at 8:30 if you want to be certain of anything.
The real fun begins with a griddle plate in the center of the table, where you can cook your own pancakes, adding as few or as many toppings as you like. Once they're cooked, you can enjoy them plain or drizzle them with maple syrup, honey, or even molasses. Our kids had a blast pouring the batter into the molds on the griddle. After breakfast, feel free to take a dip in the crystal-clear springs or take a short walk to the historic Fountain of Youth. This spot really has something to offer for everyone!
