Upon entering, you're immediately greeted by a musty odor. The place feels very disorganized and outdated, and it doesn't resemble the images on the website at all. Don't be fooled—the restaurant is actually closed.

Deceptive advertising. Management not willing to discuss or communicate at all. The staff attitude is snobby, better than you, you're wasting our time, things are going to be what we say, policy is policy and screw you! A laugh in you're face type attitude. This place needs a lot of help with some customer service minded staff that has even a tiny bit of conflict resolution ability. They may be good when there is no problem but they suck at dealing with the smallest conflict. To the point of the manager is too busy and staff has no authority to do anything. Of thousands of hotel stays this is actually the worst ever hotel experience I have had. It's obvious they don't care about repeat business.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Checked in and was given an extremely dirty room. There is no way this room was cleaned let alone sanitized.

This is a hidden gem! I was delighted to discover this restaurant during our recent visit for the Deadwood Marathon. We enjoyed breakfast there on two different mornings. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very attentive. It's located just a bit outside of town, near the beginning of the Mickelson Trail, but it's definitely worth seeking out.

AVOID THIS PLACE! This establishment operates primarily as a gambling facility and shows little regard for the hotel experience. The room we stayed in was below standard. The front desk staff were consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, unable to provide any information about activities in Deadwood. We booked accommodations here with a group of veterans driving antique army jeeps with small trailers, and they even threatened to tow our vehicles! It felt very anti-veteran.
