Bbq Cafe - Decatur

I?m sooooo happy this showed up on google maps when I looked for a bbq spot in Decatur. When I tell y?all this is the best spot I?ve dined in for a long time, that?s no exaggeration. Everything was amazing cooked to perfection. Kim greeted us and it was our first time so we weren?t sure what to expect. But she was sooooo sweet helpful!!! Kim felt like a long lost auntie I never knew I needed haha. We even met Brad who smokes the meats in the back and chatted withhim for a bit. He?s very passionate about what he does. Everyone is just so laid back welcoming. Just a really nice atmosphere, GREAT service top tier food!!! We will DEFINITELY be back! ????????

Simple put, this is the best bbq I've had in many, many years. The bbq was full of flavor, moist, and tender. I wasn't disappointed when I took my first bite of ribs and pulled pork. The flavor was spot on. Sweet tea was perfect, and the stew was awesome. Then there's the Mac n cheese.......it didn't last long on my plate. They make their own hot sauces that added the right amount of hear with the food. And to top it all off the pickles are he made as well as the bananapudding which was spot on. Perfect BBQ. Great and friendly service. I would drive far out of my way to come eat here again.

My rating in a word: EXCELLENT!Don 't let the modest, walk-up, storefront fool you. BBQ Cafe serves QUALITY! Our visit was preceeded by my usual make-or-break phone inquiry: Do you serve ribs sauced, or is the sauce on the side? Once I was told that they use a dry rub, with sauce on the side, I placed an order headed that way. My maiden voyage ; The service was friendly welcoming...and the ribs were DELICIOUS! The dry rub was perfectly balanced flavorful. Since my visit, I 've read that their desserts are also impressive. I 'll DEF return score some desserty deliciousness too! ???

Out with my beautiful granddaughter one day and we decided we wanted BBQ. Drove around for awhile looking for a place and spotted this one.It 's a small shack where you order at a window, there is no dine-in , but there is seating around the outside. Parking is sparse around the back though.The BBQ was delicious! Whatever rub they used was scrumptious, no need for the BBQ sauce AT ALL! The flavor is amazing. The service was friendly and inviting. Can 't remember her name, but she allowed us to taste everything before we ordered. Their Brunswick stew was very tasty. Everything was great. HIGHLY recommend it and will definitely go back.

Wow! Give this BBQ Cafe a try! This restaurant is nestled in the city of Decatur. I had the bowl which consisted of potato salad, beans, pull pork with a slaw. It was so delicious! Also the ambiance is quaint and welcoming !The staff are helpful and also inviting. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this restaurant! Give it a try.
