Ihop - Decatur

My wife and I took our older children to this restaurant. It was the only place where all three of us could agree on. I must admit, I also enjoyed the food. I always order breakfast when I go there, it's a nice change. The service was a bit rushed, as it always seems to be, but the waitstaff did their best to accommodate everyone. Overall, the food was delicious and there were a few families with children enjoying their meal as well, making it a great night out.

The food was fantastic, but the air conditioning seemed to be either broken or unable to vent the heat from the kitchen. We ended up sweating while enjoying our Swedish meatballs.

The restaurant was really busy, but the waitstaff managed to handle it well. The place was crowded because of their talented chefs. The food was delicious and served promptly.

I had a rocky start when I arrived. I was not greeted immediately. but as soon as I came to my table and my server took over my service for the better changed. my server was ashley. she was polite, friendly, professional and attentive. she did a wonderful job.

I've been to many IHOPs but this one in Decatur while traveling through Alabama was by far the best! I thought we might have to wait a while to sit because it looked packed but we seated immediately. Then I figured it might take a half hour to get our food like other IHOPs I've been to but the food came out in literally 3 mins of ordering. I got the fresh blueberry French toast and maybe it's because I haven't had it in while but it was the best french toast I've ever had in a long time! Wish the IHOP in my town was as good and fast! I would go there alot more if it was!
