Sunrise The Breakfast Place - Decherd

We have a fantastic breakfast spot right in our new neighborhood! The chicken and waffles were delicious! The biscuits and gravy were decent, although the sausage gravy was a bit thinner than what my husband prefers. However, the large coffee and affordable menu made up for it. The absolute highlight of our visit was our waitress, Lexi—what a lovely and attentive server! We’re excited for many more breakfast outings at Sunrise. Next up, we plan to try the sweet cream pancakes. It’s great to support a small business, and we certainly weren't disappointed!

The food is incredible. Our server always remembers that I prefer a lot of coffee and makes sure to bring the larger cup to the table. The portion sizes are excellent. While prices have gone up, it's a result of the current administration's poor decisions affecting overall costs. However, the increases haven't been drastic. Overall, the meal offers great value.

This restaurant offers an excellent breakfast experience! After leaving Tims Ford State Park, my family of eight searched for a breakfast spot. We only waited about 10 minutes for a table on a Sunday morning, which was quite reasonable. I opted for an omelet—though I can’t recall the exact ingredients, it had onion, cheese, and possibly some diced sausage, all topped with a delicious pepper sauce. It was fantastic! Their domestic fries, which are cubed potatoes, were incredibly tasty as well. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the service was prompt. It’s a great breakfast destination, and we will definitely be returning!

Applecake was so good today! Large, boiled apple slices, served on a fluffy pancake. The sausages were also wonderful. Fast, friendly service!

Great breakfast, staff was friendly and super fast. Everything was delicious. I got fried chicken and gravy and the chicken was cooked wonderfully, unlike at the Bistro at The Palms of Destin
