Guidry's Cruisin Cajun Crawfish

Great place. Food was excellent. Alligator bites were some of the best I've ever had. Tender, flakey, and hot. Only downside I had is that their fries weren't as freshly fried and the bread pudding was obviously reheated. But the shrimp, gumbo, catfish,and alligator bites were awesome. Nice atmosphere too. Great place.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious late lunch at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I had the stuffed shrimp meal with grilled vegetables and rice, which was very tasty. My daughter ordered the Boudain Balls basket, which is listed as an appetizer but is actually large enough to be a meal. Our only issue was that they were out of the fried zucchini appetizer we wanted to try.

I ordered the large chicken and sausage gumbo, but it was mostly liquid with very little meat. I felt like it was a waste of money. The Cajun fries were not seasoned well, and the hushpuppies were served cold with the burger.

The boudin balls, alligator bites, buffalo shrimp, and crawfish were all fantastic. Based on these dishes alone, we would definitely consider returning to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the gumbo we ordered tasted burnt, so we did not finish the two bowls we were served. This was a minor issue that did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal; it likely would have been delicious if it hadn't been overcooked. The service was average at best, as we had to wait for refills and even had to get some things ourselves. Requesting anything extra seemed like a hassle, as it would either take a long time to arrive or simply not be worth the effort. At one point, I had to search for our waitress because she had disappeared with my credit card for longer than I felt comfortable with.

Alligator bites were some of the best I ever had. tender, fluffy and hot. only on the bottom I had that their pommes were not so freshly fried and the brotpudding was obviously reheated. but the garnel, gumbs, cats and alligator bites were great. beautiful atmosphere too. great place.
