Turtle Lake Tap Grill - Delavan

This is a hidden gem on the shore of Turtle Lake. The food, service and general atmosphere are top notch. There is a great outdoor space and live music on the weekends. For my Delavan friends this is a short 10 minute drive that is well worth it. I recommend the chicken sandwich or tacos

We found the place quite by chance. We were looking for someplace to go after hiking in Carver Roehl Park. We found it on the map and are very happy we did. Located on the shore of Turtle Lake it has great outdoor seating overlooking the lake. I had the TL Spicy Chicken sandwich was excellent. My wifevhad the Chicken Quesadilla which was also excellent. We also had a Mai Ti and Tipsy Turtle for drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

BEWARE!! Passing through our way home from vacation and pulling bass boat. Called ahead to make sure there was parking for a car and a boat. Young woman told us definitely yes and told us where to park. Got to restaurant and parked where she told us to.Walked up to the door and were met by man and we were told that trailers were not allowed on property. FYI , 2 trailers were parked on property already. Pointed down the way where we could park where there really was not space for a car with a boat. Very sad as there were absolutely no customers at the outside tables on a beautiful day. Guess our business wasn't important,

What. A. View. Situated right on the shore of Turtle Lake, Turtle Lake Tap Grill has an amazing patio overlooking the lake. We were strawberry picking in the area, searched Yelp for nearby lunch spots and this spot came up. We had no idea the loveliness in store. We got a seat on the patio. While we were there, they also had live music happening on the patio that was the perfect accompaniment to the sunshiny patio lounging. For my lunch, I got a Santa Fe salad, which consists of mixed greens, black beans, corn, pico, pickled onions, topped with a few crispy tortilla strips and southwest ranch. If was a perfectly refreshing lunch for a warm summer day. Their menu has a variety of salads, apps, sandwiches, hot dogs, and pizza. I didn't have a cocktail but they do have a full bar and the table next to us got a Mai Thai that looked particularly lovely. Get to it!

The staff was friendly and appetizers we had were good. it was quite hot on the deck also with the overhead shadow screen. Probably it would have been good if it wasn't 90 degrees outside, but my wife and I like to sit outside if possible.
