Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant was enjoyable. While it wasn't outstanding, it was certainly good. The prices were on the higher side, and the kitchen focused on vegetarian dishes, which were quite appealing. The service was commendable, and it was definitely a preferable option compared to the Denny's nearby for brunch or lunch.
Homey small restaurant with authentic Mexican food that is cooked to order. Delicious! As Perk, it is at Carnicería El Rey (a butcher shop), where we bought jalapeño burger, ground beef, a roast, and both sweet and hot Italian sausage, perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must if by Deming, NM on I 10.
I enjoyed a delicious steak that I shared with my husband. The service was excellent. They also offer a beautiful Buffalo Burger if you're looking for something different.
We're hungry. See, we had already migrated City of Rocks State Park, about 200 miles to see interesting sights, and a few miles on our feet looking for hidden objects. In Deming we usually rolled slow hours between lunch and dinner rush, and pulled out of the building. You can smell the inflexible aroma of grilling meat and roasts from the parking lot, which just added to our appetite. We sat relatively fast in the small dining room where only another table was occupied. There was a party of 10 on this table, but they looked good so we didn't think about it. The unique waitress came and took our drinks order, then went away, and we discussed options. Later she moved back with some really wonderful chips and salsa, but we had not fully resolved our debate, so we asked for a minute. This minute turned into 10, and another group came in, sat, and full drinks and dinner orders before we were able to defeat the waitress again. Raz ordered a steak and insisted that I get the Churrasco plate for two. I knew that was a lot too much food, but I didn't want to discuss it any further when the waitress finally got our table back. Then the waiting started seriously. My phone was dangerously low on batteries when I would come through the door, so I was busy playing right out, and both Raz and I had reached the point of the hangry, so that conversation was also direct out. We stroll the islands of the small market, which also share the building with the butcher and the restaurant. I would probably have had time to check the entire trip and post it I had both battery power and mental focus waiting during the seemingly inappropriate. Every second it seemed worth when I dropped my teeth into the first strips of grilled, seasoned beef. Raz's steak was perfectly made and the beefiness was perfectly complemented by salt, pepper and a light mokiness. Besides beef, my churrasco contain marinated, grilled pork and chicken, and grilled sausage and vegetables. Each last piece of it was perfection in the mouth, delicate and savory and smokey, with weakly crowned and charred edges, the depth added to the whole taste. Even if we were hungry enough to approach the cow in the field and eat it before cooking, we could not finish the steak and the churrasco, but what was packed in the cooler for a midnight snack was hardly a quarter of the original part of the chorrasco, and no steak remained at all. We'll be back soon when we're in Deming, and we'll see if the wait is eliminated so we can give a fifth star.
Las Cazuelas is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is bright and inviting. Whenever it's my turn to pick a place to eat, I always choose Las Cazuelas.
