Tutens Big Chic - Denmark

The best fried chicken in the U.S.! Although I don't live in South Carolina, I’ve been dining at Tutens since the 1970s, and no one makes better fried chicken. I hope they’re still around. Be sure to grab a snack pack for lunch!

Don't order a baked potato from Tutens in Denmark, SC. They're extremely small and cost $10, which is a complete waste of money and time.

This restaurant used to be fantastic, but unfortunately, it's gone downhill. The experienced staff is no longer here, and the young women working now lack both cooking skills and customer service abilities. They really need to bring back employees who are 50 and older to restore its former glory. At this rate, the place is heading in the wrong direction.

The chicken was decent, but not as flavorful as I remembered from previous visits. It wasn't cooked long enough to achieve that crispy texture. There’s definitely room for improvement.

I miss this place love the food and the owners are fine people. Got a get back!!
