Cake Crumbs Bakery Cafe - Denver

I was just as happy as the birthday cake I got for my daughter today! It was beautifully made and absolutely delicious (the dent is from my little one trying to grab a piece). I’ll definitely be returning to this bakery for future celebrations!

The coffee was delightful and served quickly, but the food experience left much to be desired. It took 20 minutes to receive my breakfast sandwich and quiche, and then I had to wait in line just to get a fork to eat my quiche and salad. Someone else nearby was also searching for utensils and returned with two spoons, which was not helpful since I can't eat salad with a spoon. To make matters worse, the quiche was not warm and had become soggy from sitting in the salad dressing I couldn't eat.

I placed a cake order with 72 hours' notice for a simple vanilla 4-inch cake, and I was told that my request could not be fulfilled. I made a special trip just to place this order, so I found it very disappointing. They should not state on their website that they can accept most orders with 72 hours' notice if they cannot accommodate even a straightforward request like mine within that timeframe.

This was a first birthday cookie monster smash cake and it came out beautifully! I also ordered a suitable cake for the rest of us to eat?.

Great artwork, terrible cake.Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviews I’m reading. I ordered 2 cakes, one for my son and one 10 days later for my daughter. Both times the cake was still frozen 3 hours after we picked it up, and both times it was dry and too sweet. After spending 70 bucks and then 100 bucks for beautiful art on the cakes, we were sadly disappointed in the taste and texture. Frozen cake is about as good as thawed out frozen beef; disgusting.
