El Trompito Taqueria - Denver

This place is awesome! Really good Mexican food! The horchata is really good, has that “ made from scratch” taste, doesn’t taste like the stuff you buy in package. You can taste the rice and cinnamon in it, so good! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The green chili on the burritos was excellent, and the burritos themselves were fantastic. I definitely plan to return. The staff were friendly, and the service was great. You order at the counter, and it wasn't very crowded when we arrived. After placing our order, we sat down and our food was brought to our table. It did get busier after we were served.

I’ve been going here since I was like 8 and it never gets old. Everything is SO good. It’s a warm and friendly atmosphere too, the staff treats you like family, especially their regulars. I’ve tried other restaurants that serve similar foods and stuff but haven’t found one that beats this one. Humble and authentic Mexican food is what you’ll get. Try the tortas, they’re the best!

I LOVE TROMPITO. Been going here for years! I recommend it to everyone. The taste is always good, the staff is friendly. I love their tacos especially the tripas ; (Beans in this photo not from them though, heh If you're craving actual mexican food, stop by here!

This restaurant undoubtedly serves the best Caldo de Res I've ever had. My husband and I often explore various Mexican restaurants around the city, but this Ma and Pa establishment surpasses them all in both taste and service. I can't stress enough how much I enjoy visiting here. They offer freshly made juices every day, and my favorite is the cucumber juice. After your meal, you can stroll next door—which is literally connected to the restaurant—to indulge in homemade ice cream or other delightful Mexican desserts, all under the same ownership. This place is truly a hidden gem.
