Bidra med feedbackComing from the East Coast, I had my favorite hot wing spots that served a crispy, more-meat-than-fat type of wing. I have had a hard time finding good hot wing places since moving to Colorado—but now my search has come to an end. Fire on the Mountain thoroughly impressed me tonight. The wings were juicy and crispy to perfection and smothered in a sauce that was absolutely delicious (Medium spice, just right). The bleu cheese that came on the side was better than average, and the sweet potato fries were maybe the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant—salty, flavorful, ideal amount of crunch. I will definitely be ordering from this place again, and will recommend to my fellow hot wing connoisseurs.
The wing sauces are amazing and on the whole board. They define themselves what they choose, my buddy says. I love when I'm happy and there met a jam band day of background music, although they surprise you. the lunch is a lot, and when they get the 9 wing deal, they get two bites. Mondays are a hidden schatz for ipa biertrinker, as all drafts are $4. and the service is always great, and I will call blake as a spot-on for this honeymoon. highly recommended. great mood.
I still love this place so much, but I have to leave a review that emphasizes the size of the wings in these days. just above this is one of my going to spots in my neighborhood and they have always done a good job to be a great place to get a meal still. but the size of the wings for the price was totally noticeable the last visit. I am in full recognition of the cost of running a restaurant and inflation, but I can not pay $20 for 12 wings and let starving. they are so tasty, but it's just difficult. Not sure whether it's a supplier problem, marge problem or something else, but the peculiarities and the management should be aware that people can drive to other decisions. still love fotm and wish them all success. I just wanted to leave my honest critique!
In the last 18 months this place is on the hill. tonight was my last time, every time I go the wings, the bill gets smaller. the wings of the night were a full sweat. if I hadn't ordered them to go and someone actually delivered them to me on my table, I would have just sent them back and left them behind.
We arrived at 6:30 and had to wait 15-20 minutes. the bar has a nice selection of craft beer on design. the dead were perfectly crunchy and on point. they did not jump to the sauce! and the service was great. the wings are expensive- $30 for 18. an outside tent seat was present.
