Rocky Yama Sushi - Denver

After spending a night in Denver, I decided to grab lunch. I didn't pick a bad spot; in fact, it turned out to be quite good! The quality was high and the prices were reasonable. There wasn't anything particularly standout about the place, but I also didn't regret my choice, which can sometimes happen at sushi restaurants.

My friends and I were in Denver over the weekend and discovered a fantastic spot for affordable, delicious sushi! We ordered eight rolls, and each one was amazing. We savored every bite. The service was excellent, the wait time was short, and the presentation and flavor were outstanding!

I recently moved to the area and was initially worried after trying a sushi place before Broadway that I didn't enjoy. However, I was pleasantly surprised after visiting this restaurant. They serve all my favorite dishes in an elegant presentation, and their prices are the most affordable I've found. Plus, they offer a happy hour, which is a nice bonus!

The Samurai and Yellowtail Roll are heavenly. I haven't had sushi this fresh with extraordinary service in a long. My 10 year old had the California Roll and they topped it off with some tempura flakes which elevated the textures quite nicely.My 9 year old had the pork fried rice which was seriously out of this world! The pork was smoky and flavorful.Enjoy!

Overall a decent sushi restaurant. Fish were fresh and the rice was super moist and delicious. They had an average menu selection to choose from. I went during lunch so there wasn’t a crowd, we were sat right away and taken care of immediately by the friendly staff.We also ordered the fried rice and ramen. The ramen broth was just very salty, maybe it was sitting on heat too long it got salty. Fried rice is just as you expect from any good restaurant.For a very slow afternoon, the restroom were not fully stocked. Both restrooms are unisex and one restroom did not have paper towels. Otherwise, everything was pretty clean and tidy.The parking lot out back is very tight and a nightmare. They share their rear parking with Grease Monkey. You can also do street parking.
