Room For Milly - Denver

We had our first experience at Room For Milly and it did not disappoint. We arrived for a birthday happy hour before dinner, and were warmly welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbles to kick off the celebration. The decor is delightful, allowing us to envision the adventures of the fictional Milly. The cocktails were delicious, and the truffle popcorn was a treat as well.

To say we were taken aback would be an understatement; it felt like we encountered a touch of ageism during our visit. Why else would the bartender seem so annoyed by our presence in his nearly empty bar on a Monday night? Perhaps he was simply eager for happy hour to end? That didn’t seem to be the case. When we left at 6:10, he just shrugged it off. It was such an impolite way to treat two enthusiastic potential contestants for a Golden Bachelor!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with a new friend! The staff was friendly and relatable, yet incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and professional. The happy hour was excellent, featuring refreshing drinks and delicious small plates.
