Subway - Denver

I arrived just five minutes before closing time, and I anticipated that the employee would tell me Subway was closed. However, Jay made me a delicious sandwich, and I was really grateful for that! He deserves a promotion for his excellent customer service. The ambiance of the place is also outstanding!

I had never noticed this location before, but as I was walking by, I was intrigued by the café aspect and decided to check it out to satisfy my hunger. This place is larger than most, offering clean and sanitized seating. The gentleman working there was incredibly polite and crafted the best sandwich I’ve ever had! It’s surprising to say that, considering I usually order the same thing at other locations for consistency. However, he made sure that each bite was packed with all the ingredients I requested, and I truly appreciated that. I ordered the Italian BMT without cheese, with jalapeño and banana peppers, extra toasted, along with spinach, light sweet onion vinaigrette, red onions, and pickles. It was absolutely fantastic! I think the excellent service definitely enhanced my experience. Thank you very much for a delicious lunch!

On one occasion, a server informed me that they were out of roast beef for my sub. I told him it was no problem and to go ahead and make it regardless. To my surprise, he offered to double the amount of meat for free! Later, he accidentally forgot to apply my coupon at the end of the order. He sincerely apologized, corrected it, and even offered me a complimentary cookie. Although I appreciated the gesture, I declined the cookie. One aspect that I think all Subways should consider improving is having their napkins readily available for customers. They keep them behind the counter, while everything else is self-serve, which seems a bit odd to me. Overall, it’s a great little place with friendly service!

This Subway is a couple blocks from my office building. I ate here on Friday and the 6 tuna fish was their special that day. I arrived at 11:45, so the line wasn't outrageous yet. Their new crunchy sunflower bread is really tasty! This location has a really nice patio for dining. There is also a larger than usual interior dining area, but I don't think they have any designated parking. Other than that, it's a sandwich!

This place is awful.The night guy is mean and rude. He chain smokes put front and then gets pissed your coming in for food. If he doesn't like his job maybe he should have a new one. He didn't listen to my order, I had to repeat simple instructions multiple times. As a former manager of a subway, I would never ever let my employees treat customers like this guy did. I will be calling the store as well as writing this review. This behavior in the work place is unacceptable.
