Bidra med feedbackThere is something to be said about a restaurant/diner that looks like it's straight out of the 1970s in the current day. This little place on East Colfax really made me wonder if it was the diner out of the opening/ending scene in the movie Pulp Fiction! It's kept tidy and clean inside, and the furniture, tables and chairs all add into the 70s feel. I went here for a lunch on a Friday and was seated immediately at the counter, although there were plenty of seats/tables available. I had a Reuben sandwich which was really good, and my friend had a meatloaf sandwich which was also very good. Price came to about $12-13 each with some ice tea. If you like Sam's #3 in downtown Denver, then this place will also resonate with you. Recommended!
We have fallen in love with Tom's Diner. We came here for breakfast on labor day (I know)... and ordered the standard fare eggs, potatoes, toast, and a pancake. The server, despite being overwhelmed with the amount of customers and lack of support staff, was very friendly, polite, and helpful. She seated and served us quickly given the circumstances, and was attentive during our visit. The food is superb, and cheap (especially relative to the other breakfast joints in the area). Last but not least, the classic diner vibe is not to be overlooked. There is a nostalgic glow in every corner of the restaurant. Even the silverware is reminiscent of the classic 24 hour diner. We would absolutely come here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classic retro vibe (minus the pretence) with reasonably priced food. 5 stars, no doubt about it.
Good food! I ate pancakes with some Denver Omelets. Unlike most places, the syrup is warm which is good cause who eats cold syrup with pancakes? The omelet was tasty. Not too salty or spicy. It was just right. Only bad thing i can say was that the apple juice cost $4...4 bucks for apple juice? In what world?! But anyways this restaurant still gets a 5-stars from me. Good food. Good service.
Fantastic local diner, simple but delicious food. It has all of the basics to include a variety of cereals! Wait staff is super friendly, always quick to spark up a conversation with their customers.
Honestly, the best place to go when you're starving at 3AM and you're staring at your ceiling hoping food will just magically fall into your face hole..
