Uncle Joe's A Hong Kong Bistro - Denver

Just a happy hour here once after a theater matinee. Good choice of choices and service was great.

The restaurant offers a wide range of modern Asian dishes. I really enjoyed the Szechuan green beans.

The service was lackluster. We ordered drinks that arrived after our first round of dishes and we had to remind the waiter about them. Our dishes came out in a haphazard order, causing some confusion with the mixing of dishes and drinks. At the start of our meal, it seemed like there weren't enough waitstaff, but more people appeared towards the end. Overall, our experience was not great and we have no plans to return. The only upside to this restaurant is its proximity to the DCPA.

The first time Diner. The steamed pig dumplings were delicious. We both had the scallops and shrimps in a spicy sauce that was quite hot in taste. Could be too much spice for most diners. Convenient to the DCPA and with fast service we did the show in a lot of time. We'll be back.

The chicken wings are the BEST in Denver. Tender, tasty with a spicy kick. Yet, NO MSG which is important to us. We also love their mango salad. It has fresh ingredients, and a generous amount of Mango and Avocado. The dressing is a little lemony...light and refreshing.
