Hillview - Depew

My friend ordered French toast she poured maple syrup on it took a few bites and noticed flies in the syrup she ran to the bathroom and vomited. We then talked to the waitress and she was ill with her eyes. I couldn't finish my meal and we left. They only accepted the French toast from the bill, no excuses from the owner was my bill. $17. Watch this dirty place... please share my story.

Been coming here since I was a kid, it?s not what is used to be. Food was mediocre and the service was terrible. All the waitresses were busy talking loudly they couldn?t even refill coffee or bring us our check and we weren?t the only ones. There was barely anyone in the restaurant and now I see why. Will never go back.

The food tasted delicious! It was a tad on the salty side, but not too bad. The Ruben I had was actually very well made and perfectly crisp. The fries are also crispy. Would recommend. I'll definitely be returning here. The atmosphere of the place was really nice, too. It felt cozy.

The Ruben was chewy but tasty, and the sweet potato fries were worth the extra 3 bucks. Waitress was friendly and professional, and the bathroom had a layer of dust so thick, even the walls had not seen a cleaning since the restaurant opened. I felt dirtier after visiting and washing up than I felt entering.
