The Bank - Derby

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I reserved the function room for a family gathering following a funeral. Upon arrival, we were greeted with pitchers of iced water, which were greatly appreciated given the hot weather. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food exceeded my expectations, with a delicious selection of both hot and cold buffet options. There was plenty of food to go around, with leftovers to spare. Thank you to the staff at The Bank for their excellent service - you truly did us proud.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at this restaurant. We want to thank Mel and the entire team for a fantastic evening. We enjoyed some delicious drinks at a great price and treated ourselves. It was Friday, so why not?

The restaurant offers delicious food, has a welcoming staff, and boasts a charming ambiance. The chef is outstanding and highly recommends the veggie burger.

Last orders called but not heard and called earlier than week before so seems like staff want k get home early on Monday night

I come into the Bank regularly: after work pint.. Today, I overheard a customer choose a chicken meal that they had eaten previously.... it intrigued me.. so I asked? Bare in mind I drink here regularly, but have never eaten anything. Tonight I decided to try the “Cheeky Chicken” menu; Spicy Chipotle BBQ with ‘slaw, spicy curly fries and sweet chilli dip.. I also ordered a couple of pieces of Southern fried chicken on the side, which I ate as a starter with mayo... As pub food goes... the meal was really tasty. The half chicken was moist. Southern fried chicken breast fillets were equally perfect. Hence me writing this post... I am pleasantly surprised.. the venue, a sports bar with screens everywhere and LOUD music or sports commentary, isn’t my normal dining objective... but I will eat here again... An education for me; “don’t judge the book by its cover”
