Cub Club - Des Moines

Since they prepare everything to order, it took a little while for our food to arrive, but we enjoyed watching the staff fold up the tarp on the field while we waited. When our meals finally arrived, they were really tasty—just your classic breakfast dishes. The total bill was $16.97 for the two breakfasts, the side pancake, and coffee (which was just 50 cents!). We're definitely looking forward to coming back to try the lunch menu. (Christa)

I decided on the “Home Run” meal, which came with two eggs cooked just as I requested, crispy hashbrowns, tasty sausage patties, and a slice of wheat toast to complete the dish. The restaurant offers a lovely view of a well-maintained ball field, making it a pleasant place to dine. The service was excellent, the food was great, and the view was fantastic. They’re open from 7 AM to 2 PM and are members-only during games. I highly recommend checking it out!

Great place to sit over the field, sip coffee, and have a good breakfast. Great view of the field and the coffee is cheap and tasty! Definitely recommend if you are just visiting Des monies! And it's not to busy either great service!

This is a fantastic spot to visit! They offer a great selection of breakfast dishes, and the staff is incredibly friendly. One of the highlights of dining here is the amazing view of the ballpark field. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I can't wait to go back and eat here again!

This unique restaurant is located near downtown Des Moines, Iowa, right by the Des Moines River. There are plenty of street parking spaces available. It's situated on the second floor and features only tables, with no counters. My waitress, Chasity, promptly brought me the menu, and I ordered a strong cup of coffee. I chose the Home Run breakfast, which included two eggs cooked to my liking and crispy hash browns seasoned to perfection. The wheat toast complemented the meal nicely. The view overlooking the well-maintained ballpark made for a lovely dining experience. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., but it's members-only during games.
