Maria's Mexican Food - Des Moines

The food was enjoyable, but the highlight of the experience was definitely the guy working at the new Ankeny location. I’m not sure what his official title is, but he seems to be everything—manager, cashier, waiter—truly a jack of all trades. The wait for dinner can be a bit long, but that's completely understandable. They are open late, six days a week, until 2 a.m. on most nights. Great food, highly recommended!

Fantastic food, excellent prices, and a wonderful variety. I always feel happy to see this place open when I pass by. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I’m always tempted to stop in. I've enjoyed meals here both to-go and dine-in.

This restaurant is fantastic! I knew there were late-night options for Mexican food, but I didn't realize they could serve such delicious meals. We walked up to the window, placed our order, and waited until our food was ready. It was absolutely amazing! I'm totally in love with it. I just wish this place was closer to home.

Great authentic Mexican food! Recomendado! The staff is beautiful and polite gives the place good mood, plus food is good!
