Bidra med feedbackThe rabbit meatballs were delicious but the entree white Alaskan halibut was alright tender, and not that flavorful including the sauce. The potatoes and peas were better and well seasoned.
This was a surprise find at the last minute. Visiting Des Moines for the first time, and Open Table gave the restaurant a 4.6/5 scale. The halibut was drag and well seasoned, the grilled octopus with sticky rice was a wonderful appetizer, and Gretchen, the waiter, was friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant is classic and modern. Highly recommended.
Kara was our server and an absolute delight. We had a family outing for my sister’s birthday, and Kara was the cherry on top to the whole experience. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was perfect. I will be revisiting, and recommending, Proudfoot Bird for special occasions in both my personal and professional life due to the experience I had tonight. Thank you everyone there for making my sister’s birthday a great one.
The food was absolutely delectable and Gretchen our server was top notch! You are definitely lucky to have her on staff. She was so welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu and so so funny. She may have been the best part of dining there!
We cannot say enough about the quality of food and service. Our waitress was wonderful. The chef 's vegan meal is a well thought out dish. The bartender made a vegan version of the nutty Irishman cocktail for us. The wine list was superb. Enjoy.
