Truman's Kc Pizza Tavern - Des Moines

We shared a 22 inch French dip pizza. Pizza was good and fed the two of us and a box to go.

What a great place to breakfast! Biscuits and Gravy Pizza recommend. The engraving is excellent. Didn't have a chance to have traditional pizza yet, but if as good as the breakfast items it must be good!

Great food, Great Service. I just moved into town and my experience has been good. They have a variety of food items to choose from. Sports All Day.

Truman’s is a favorite of mine especially since I’m a huge KC Royals fan. The pizza is delicious as are the sandwiches and entrees. The beer is always cold and flowing. Staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you’re at home. The bar is built out of an old house so lots of rustic charm found within. TVs everywhere, and lots of patio space. Only downside is small parking lot, so be prepared to parallel park if it’s busy. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Fortunate enough to show up after the lunch crowd. Waitress was very pleasant and patient (so many options) and accommodated our request to try samples of the pizza sauces, which paired well with what might have been the best fried cheeseballs I've ever had. Even the leftovers were great the following day. Looking forward to trying their breakfast.
