$5 Pizza Place - Desert Hot Springs

I found the sandwich to be quite small for the price I paid. The wait was also lengthy, and they forgot to include the pepperoncinis that were listed on the menu. Additionally, the sandwich was served on flatbread, which I didn't expect. Overall, I was not satisfied—I finished the sandwich and was still hungry. I had this for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20.

The second sandwich was also underwhelming—it lacked any flavor, with no mayo or dressing to enhance it, making it very bland. And once again, it fell apart due to the flatbread. On a brighter note, the wings were decent, though a bit cold, and they had good flavor. Overall, my experience wasn't what I had hoped for.

I just moved to the area and had a craving for pizza, so I decided to check out Tan's for the first time today. I ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza, and I have to say, it was delicious! I'm a big fan of crust, and I particularly enjoyed theirs. The sausage was cut into very small pieces and scattered across the pizza. While I was hoping for bigger chunks, I guess that’s just how they do it here. Regardless, the pizza was tasty enough for me to give them a solid 5 stars. I visited around 9 p.m. on a Friday, and it wasn’t too busy, so my pizza was ready in just 15 minutes. The staff were friendly as well. I'll definitely be back for more!
