Mcguire's Sunset Deck - Destin

Food was top notch! Entertainment while waiting for our table was AWESOME! We are regulars but tonight was the first time hearing Meg Phillips!! We ate Molly cut and prime rib and both wee cooked to our desired request. Server exceptional!!

Michael Brandon was our excellent waiter. We had a large group with six kids. He made great suggestions for them and brought coloring papers and crayons and gave us ideas on how to share root beers, etc. Kids were fascinated by the dollar bills and decor. Food was great and service was fast considering how crowded the restaurant was. We'll be back. We give the restaurant and our waiter 5 star

Food is awesome, not too long a wait to get in. Service is really helpful. Money, money everywhere.

Anyone who comes to Destin knows about McGuire 's Irish Pub as a a go-to place for great food and fun. We had Fish and Chips some great Burgers, A huge filet and a huger Rueben. Also a pretzel the size of a trashcan lid. This is our second visit and really, really enjoy the atmosphere, the great service and the huge portion sizes

1. Got a brownie to go after my meal. It's so hard. Like a rock. It won't soften at all. The part I could get to break off tastes super burnt. I paid good money for this brownie and had to trash it. 2. The ribs were terrible. They covered them with so much sauce to try to hide how much they overcooked them. The meat at the ends was not edible. 3. The chicken Alfredo...just yuck! 4. Fried anything was good. Salad good, although they soak it in dressing. 5. Alcohol drinks were watered down. I'm sad to say this place is no longer worth going to. It's just a tourist trap like the rest of Destin. I'm local. Brought my family visiting me. It was terrible. After a 2hr wait at 5pm on a Thursday, this is not the meal you want to eat.
