Farmer Frank's - Detroit

This was my third or fourth time coming here. But this time I waited for over an hour and I didn't get any food. They were very apologetic. Everyone else at my table got food. They offered to bring me food after everyone else was done eating. The food here is normally decent. The sausage links with berry waffles and stir fry are good choices. Good luck. Usually very crowded on Sunday.

This place has great food but my most recent experience left a bad impression. I typically order through DoorDash. I’ve ordered through DoorDash multiple times without issues. My last order was stolen by the Dasher. I had to call DoorDash and have the order canceled since I didn’t get it. I re-ordered the food from Farmer Frank. They confirmed the order, but they didn’t want to fulfill it unless I had DoorDash call them, as if I tried to scam them out of a $15 order. I only learned they weren’t going to fulfill it because the new Dasher called and told me. I’ve ordered from them multiple times but now I’m suddenly a scammer? Ridiculous.

Place was very clean! It was dark, odd for a breakfast place.Service was slow, only got 1 refill on coffee and had to run down waitress for that. They add a 4% charge to use your debit card?? The ONLY place I've ever seen that...eat that fee or hide it in the food cost, don't upcharge me. Not going back for that reason alone!Except for my chicken, all the test of the food was ice cold. Get better timing and plate everything at the same time!Very bad experience.

Love this place. Always good, fresh food. Great service.
