Bidra med feedbackI’ve always loved the Pad Thai from here but the hot and sour soup is the best I’ve ever had. It is loaded with all the ingredients not just a bowl of broth with a few things. Every spoonful will be full of delishishness! I always come here when I have to come to Detroit for work. I get pad Thai sometimes but always get a few hot and sour soups. It very filling by itself.
Let’s begin with the highlight—the Chicken Drunken Noodles. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked, achieving that ideal chewy texture. Tender slices of chicken blended flawlessly with a variety of colorful vegetables, creating a wonderful mix of flavors that delighted my taste buds. The fragrant Thai basil, paired with a pleasant spicy kick, took this dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. Each savory bite left me wanting more, showcasing the skillful balance of flavors in this Thai classic. Equally impressive was their Chicken Fried Rice. The aromatic rice was expertly stir-fried with chunks of chicken and a mix of fresh vegetables. The contrast of textures and flavors was simply heavenly, with the rich soy sauce and subtle wok-char enhancing the dish's appeal. Each forkful was packed with umami goodness, leaving me thoroughly content. My overall experience at Go Sy Thai was exceptional. The modern atmosphere and friendly staff added to the restaurant's charm, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. In summary, this spot is a haven for Thai food lovers, and their Chicken Drunken Noodles and Chicken Fried Rice are true delights. If you're in search of an unforgettable culinary experience, this is the place to go. Get ready to be amazed by the outstanding flavors, creativity, and authenticity served in every dish!
Ordered Pad Thai, but received Noodles Chicken without any sauce… two of the three noodle dishes didn’t have any flavor/sauce.I tried calling and had to wait 10-15 minutes to connect with anyone.
Staff was amazing. It was super hot- no AC so beware. The kitchen means it’s hotter inside than outside (where today it was already 90)They were out of crab Rangoon and the shrimp dinner portion I got was huge but I mentioned how I wanted it to be oyster sauce based and I got a very coconut curry esque dish which, while it was good but just not my own taste. I’d come again to share a dinner entree- they do give a lot of food and protein!
I used to live in midtown and frequented this location since it opened 10 years ago. I decided to stop in today and wish I hadn 't. I ordered chicken pad Thai carryout and discovered when I got home that it was really lacking tamarind sauce. I called to tell the restaurant and was told that I had to bring the food back in and they would remake it for free , as if I hadn 't already paid for it. The young lady I spoke with was super nice, but I was annoyed that I had to make a 15 minute trip back up there. That 's on me, I should 've checked. When I walked in I could tell I was being talked about by the manager and he spoke about my order like I was inconveniencing him by being unhappy with dry, bland, pad thai. He never apologized for the inconvenience or offer me a drink or anything, and he had a young lady come take my returned food from me. Not a big deal, i didn 't want it, but I 've never heard of places taking food back for sanitary reasons. The cashier who took my order was very apologetic. I wish I had just asked for a refund because the remake wasn 't much better. Sadly, I 'll never go back to this location. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
