Grandma Bob’s Pizza - Detroit

Amazing vegan and omnivore options. We started with dessert (vegan milkshakes! and ended with pizza.

It is nice to have some deep dish choices. This place has the dots right for the 'I 's, and the crosses are fine for their 'T 's also. Very condusive to mixed size parties and personalities. There is an extensive aperitif selection and fantastic coffee/chocolate drink concoctions to break out of the mundane. Parking down a block or 2 was not bad. Wait was less than expected. The freshness of the ingredients was obvious upon the first bite, shortly after being seated. We will be returning soon to try some other items, too!

My first Detroit style pizza, and it was amazing. Great vegan options as well.

Door waiter extremely rude, tried to ask how long it would take for a takeout order and he stuck his hand up and told me to wait my turn. The only other people in the restaurant was a lady waiting to pick up an order and a family waiting to be seated. May want to put your most courteous employees at the door to greet and welcome people, not put their hand up in customers face as if they don’t have time for them.
